Gonsalocomc 'XpecialXpacial' [OUT EVERYWHERE].
gonsalocomc soa a uma certa sujidade urbana agradável e relaxante, utilizando sons coloridos e texturas reconfortantes, em 'XpecialXpacial' o artista eleva-se numa sonoridade astral, através de samples contrastantes e batidas proeminentes de um ouvido dotado para a natureza metafísica que permeia as suas obras.
"Foi produzido durante 2022, maioritariamente entre o Logic Pro X e a SP 404, apanhou a minha transição entre Braga e Porto.
Como influência tive algumas das beattapes que ia encontrando no bandcamp tipo ovrkasts e companhia. E as texturas a fugir para um jazz fusion espiritual que ainda é dos meus géneros favoritos, talvez de sun ra tenha vindo a associação com o espaço."
É através da poética ressonante em faixas como 'cadente' que conta com a participação de DoisPês, que aqui nos é atribuída a possibilidade de olhar o céu e contemplar os diferentes sentidos sobre os pontos luminosos que permanecem acima das nossas cabeças, também em '2222', faixa colaborativa com Dualus, onde ambos transpõem uma clara e complexa força transcendente na forma como abordam este tema, música para além das estrelas, a ascensão espiritual através do som.

XpecialXpacial é o quarto projeto instrumental de gonsalocomc que tem data de lançamento para esta sexta-feira dia 29.
Tendo já lançado a sua primeira beattape “àtoatape” e o EP “par e meio” em 2021, e contribuído para a compilação de instrumentais intitulada “vigairada” em 2022, juntamente com Herege e @dois_ps, é com Xpecial Xpacial que se introduz na @slowhabits e apresenta o conjunto de Beats mais extenso que já lançou a solo, contando com 12 faixas e rondando os 23 minutos.
A paisagem sonora de XpecialXpacial, vai de encontro com o nome, constituindo uma junção entre samples vibrantes e românticos, grooves desleixados de um hip-hop fugido para o abstrato sob um véu de detalhes sónicos e efeitos dum universo sci-fi e retro-futurista. Estas texturas cósmicas contribuem para a concordância estética de todo o projeto, que varia bastante dentro dos parâmetros enunciados.

DUALUS RELEASES NEW EP ‘WHICH WAY IS FORWARD’
[OUT EVERYWHERE]
Dualus edita novo EP através da Slow Habits, ‘Which Way Is Forward’, projecto resultante de uma cadeia de acontecimentos na sua vivência, que aqui convergem com a sua forte identidade musical.
Concebido no espaço de cinco dias, este EP surge de forma espontânea, com total liberdade criativa, durante esta curta temporada Dualus encontra diferentes direcções para a sua expressão fervorosa, a culminar sob batidas incessantes, combina a electrónica à organicidade do seu tacto jazzistico, atravessando o jungle e o liquid drum n bass, assume com destreza um caráter muito próprio sob o género incitando naturalmente o ouvinte à dança.
A salientar ainda, este projecto conta com a participação de Geta na faixa 3 ‘Overhead Motion’, seria de esperar que o combo entre estes dois resultasse numa faixa singular, estimulante e aditiva.

6 anos após a primeira edição, regressamos com o volume dois da série de compilações ‘O Som de Um Hábito’.
Esta edição conta com a participação de Crate Diggs, DoisPês, Geta, Lily Kashunattsu, Lyfe, Niumigi, NOIATT, oseias., RakimBadu, Ruffus Duarte, Veelain, @youngboda e Wake Up Sleep, todos os artistas colaboraram em duos e cada faixa é formada essencialmente por um banco de samples criado pelos participantes, dos quais todos tiveram acesso no processo de concretização dos seus temas, ‘O Som de Um Hábito Vol.2’ forma-se então sob o desafio de integrar parte deste banco de samples no processo de produção das 7 faixas que estarão disponíveis dia 24 em todas as plataformas digitais.
'O Som De Um Hábito, é o som da vivência, do dia-a-dia, da troca de experiências e mudanças constantes na percepção, é a representação da repetição em bits, micro momentos que ficam gravados num disco rígido, podendo nunca vir a ser ouvidos.'

6 years after the first edition, we return with volume two of the compilation series 'O Som de Um Hábito'.
This edition features the participation of Crate Diggs, DoisPês, Geta, Lily Kashunattsu, Lyfe, Niumigi, NOIATT, oseias., RakimBadu, Ruffus Duarte, Veelain, @youngboda and Wake Up Sleep, all artists collaborated in duos and each track is formed essentially with a bank of samples created by the participants, of which all had access in the process of materializing their themes, 'O Som de Um Hábito Vol.2 forms itself under the challenge of integrating part of this sample bank in the production process of the 7 tracks that will be available on the 24th on all digital platforms..
'O Som De Um Hábito Vol.2 is the sound of everyday life, of the exchange of experiences and constant changes in perception, it is the representation of repetition in bits, micro moments that are recorded on a hard disk, and may never come to be heard.'

'à luz do farol' is the journey through the memories of a photograph, a portrait on which the artist finds himself recreating and re-designing it through the language of bits and beats.
Dualus has the ability to combine unexpected elements in such a unique way, his production stands upon a wide spectrum of sounds, working rhythmically and harmonically together, all these perfectly binded and balanced, simultaneously, he perfuses a poetical deconstruction through out the songs he composed and produced.

Wake Up Sleep releases his new album ‘Im Sorry’, kicking off the year of 2022, the artist dispose 11 instrumental tracks loaded with a tension of the moment, leading the listener in a levity of hazy environments and involving textures in sync with the beat, modulated through constant alternations in rhythms and their components. CRATE DIGGS RELEASES NEW EP ‘SIMPLESMENTE LINDO’
Our homie Crate Diggs debuts his new EP on our label. Reflecting his approach for the meaning of simplicity, the artist ends up his journey with 6 instrumental tracks reflecting his sonic discoveries through time, while preserving space as a sound unity, 'Simplesmente Lindo' is by far the transcription of a feeling, vibrations which never needed to be translated but felt. The project counts with a collaboration from DJ Rill and the artwork by Phlowgraphy.

Crate Diggs is the alter ego of Diogo Costa, born and raised in Almada, currently living in Seixal, where he has been inspired as a producer since 2014, he begins a journey as a 'sound digger' in search of new sounds for his beats, influenced by 90's Hip Hop and R&B, Crate Diggs reflects part of his discoveries in his solo projects and together with RakimBadu forming SoulProviders, passionate about music and its diversity, the artist goes through the most varied samples until he finds the 'perfect loop'.
Thus, we officially made his debut as a slow homie introducing his first release on the label.
'Simplesmente Lindo' is the EP presented by Crate Diggs that will be available on all digital platforms on April 24th, we also leave here an invitation to the Listening Session of this project taking place in Bandcamp where you can listen to it simultaneously with the artist and ask questions regarding the project or the artist himself in a live stream hosted by Wake Up Sleep.

DoisPês has been on our radar for a while now, his first contact with Slow Habits has been through our Compilation Series 2019: Bending, Breaking and Blending, where he was truly engaging with us by participating in all three editions, his sound brought attention to our ears since the first listening. The simplicity of his music reflects his actual state of mind, spirit and life experiences transporting the listener to a cloud of nostalgia, laid back and wavy mood where samples are brought back to life solely combining drum patterns of his own. We’re proud to present DoisPês as a slow homie now and his track ‘piece’ represents so well the timing and the vibes we were needing at the moment, accompanied by a unique illustration made by Gonçalo Igrejas, this new release is now available everywhere!

Our discography has been growing for the past 2 years, we've released music from various artists that we had the pleasure and love to met in our journey as a collective. Getting kind of nostalgic with all of the circumstances happening around the world, we won't forget that every single step made was meaningful, a sense of accomplishment is acquired every time we connect with someone, we keep the substancial value of these masterpieces we have found along the way and it wouldn't be more satisfying and grateful to not be thankful for all those who keep sharing their art and passion with us, love is what moves us, peace is what we thrive for and music is the way to keep manifesting and fighting through an infinite purpose, a never ending road transforming our dreams and beliefs to a closer and tangible reality.

United by Friendship, one of the mottos that preserves and elevates our sense of identity, personally and musically speaking, it wouldn't be possible to achieve such goals without it, so in order to keep it alive we must commit to ourselves and others to the purposes we keep bringing up.
Everything falls apart from time to time but it is still important to know how to get back from distant mistakes and failures that maintain you stuck, nevertheless, if you have good friends around you, share your passions, fight for what you love most and keep closer to them.
United by Friendship is also playlist which represents and features some of the people we have the pleasure to met on this journey, friends and family that resonated with our souls by sharing their music and part of what they are, it is impossible not to feel connected to such truth and dedication we've seen from everyone that crossed paths with us.
