LUAR

‘Luar emerged from a need to have a creative escape with no limits and boundaries. I started out by releasing a track every week as a way to improve my workflow, initially I had no intentions to release projects under the name Luar, the main idea was to have a place where I could build a portfolio and to use that experience to work with other people.

Over time, the initial idea changed, but the basis remained the same, exploring different genres and sounds, from orchestral and cinematic music to trap and r&b, nothing is of bounds.

The inspiration comes from loads of different places, from the music I listen to obviously, but mainly from the environments around me, from the cities I visit to the landscapes I see with my own eyes or through the lens of other people, wether its through a film, tv show, photography, design and even video games.

Everything is part of the final product, from the chosen reverb to the font used in the artwork, but the music will always be the central point.
My intention with the music I make is to accompany the listener's daily life, just as a soundtrack accompanies a film and helps tell that story.’ - Luar
