LILY KASHUNATTSU

Lily Kashūnattsu was born in ‘92 and was raised in Sintra, Portugal. She’s a singer, songwriter and also an actress.
Her taste for music arosed while participating in Theater plays and Performances, it has became a systematic habit to call Lily to sing on stage, she already had contact with music before by having piano lessons, this was a trigger for her to start giving voice to her own lyrics that she has been writing for a while now.

Inspired by nature, the ocean’s vibrations and the sound of jazz, Lily has always found a way to enhance her freedom state and music was the way to keep close to it, as it relates perfectly with everything she’s been doing in her life, so it was the perfect match.

By the time she finishes her degree in Theater and Cinema, Lily had already an intensive experience in the world of Performance and music was right attached to it, she had singing lessons during those 3 years of formation. That’s when she met Wake Up Sleep and they have connected immediately and started making music. They joined forces and together they form ‘Chakuth’ in 2019, where you can hear Lily’s skills in different approaches through several styles, mixing up genres such as Fado, Lo-Fi, Hip-Hop, R&B, Jazz and others, while singing in many languages giving us a feeling or sensation of a futuristic vibe that will easily resonate with everyone’s soul.
