“Sonar” is the newest theme, written and interpreted by Lily Kashūnattsu, composed and produced by Wake Up Sleep accompanied with visuals by Phlowgraphy.
Sonar is the navigation through sound, a demand for the right frequency, Lily Kashūnattsu exposes part of her daily reflections on what music and art can bring to ourselves, she navigates through sound waves to find what she’s looking for, a catharsis, a transformation process.
This song is also a reflection of 2020 since it was a time where things were getting closer to really start working in a positive way, but as you know, this pandemic crisis happened and it is creating numerous barriers to build a right and trustful path to grow independently as an artist.
‘Independence must be a strong desire which transcends our will to keep going even when the wind is not in our favor’.
